Swiffer Wet Jet Reusable Pad

Swiffer Wet Jet Reusable Pad

I got a chance to try it out this morning
and just love it. The pad is so absorbent.
I was able to get my whole kitchen and
downstairs bathroom mopped up.
They are not very big either.
I was so happy I found this pattern and made one.
I can't wait to make more.

The pattern is not hard to follow at all.
It also didn't take long to crochet up.
I got the pattern from
on Etsy.

I also made the one for a
swiffer pad.
Here is a link to that blog,

Pancaked Bun of Braids

Pancaked Bun of Braids

I have been using a white sock for my buns and been

able to hide it but I wasn't to sure

on this one. So I decided it was time to get one.

We were at the dollar store today getting some

cleaning supplies and plastic

bags and I found one.

Man or man, look at all the grey coming in.

They are also coming in curly too.

Next time I will have to put something in to help

with the fly a ways.

Crocheted Swiffer pad

Crocheted Swiffer pads

I have seen these for a while and finally decided
to buy the pattern and make one. I love it and so
glad I did.

I got the pattern from
on Etsy.

It's a very easy pattern to follow. The pattern has one for the swiffer and the swiffer jet.
I made the swiffer and will make the jet one
next. I have both of them and love them for those little spills.
Then I don't have to bring out the steamer.

If you make one let me know what you think.
If you can't crochet and would love this reusable pad.

Roses

My Rose

I got a couple of rose bushes at the beginning of the summer.
(Tea Rose White Heart)

With our cold winter last year. It killed both my rose bushes.
I was so sad. So this year we are going to bundle them up even more. Just in case of another cold winter. Lets stop talking about winter.
So I got two new ones and have been waiting for them to bloom.
For awhile they didn't seem to be doing anything. So I move them. So they would get pretty much sun all day long. That did the trick.
They both started to grow fast and get one got buds really fast.

So far only one has bloomed. My other one I just noticed
some buds. I can't remember which one I got. I can't find
the info I had on them. I know when I don't need the info
anymore. I will find it. Isn't that how it goes.

I just had to share my excitement. It's been a while since I have
gotten some good roses. It has been the perfect year for them here. Not to hot or cold. Once the other one starts blooming. I will get
some pictures and share those with you.

Black light yarn

Black light yarn

I found some Black light yarn at Walmart.
I was going around looking for the
Reflective yarn. I couldn't find any
around my area. So I went onto Etsy and
found some. I"m going to make my
oldest a hat out of that one.

Sorry it's not the best picture. I'm going to work
with my hubby tonight and see if we can get
some better pictures and see if a video will
get a better idea of what it looks like.

I will say it is really cool when you see it in person.

Homemade Croutons

Homemade Croutons

My mother use to make these when I was younger.
I use to make them for a while and then stopped and
I don't know why I did. Last night my girls and I had
salad and we made them together.
They keep saying how good they were and my seven
year old wanted to bring some to summer school
for snack today.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
6 slices or bread of your choose - I use a butter top wheat this time
Butter or margarine of your choose
Garlic powder

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

1) Spread butter/margarine on both sides of bead.
2) Sprinkle garlic powder on both sides.
3) Slice bread up and spread on pan.

Cook for 12-15 mins depend on your oven. I like mine a little darker so I did the full 15 mins.
