I have been a Busy, Busy Bee (Pattern & Video included)

I have been a Busy, Busy Bee
(Pattern & Video included)

I have been a busy bee working hard on creations.
Some are gifts, some are for my girls for
Halloween and a few orders.

 Crocheted towel holders
(for and order)
I love these. I have a few around my house.
They hold towels so well and so glad I made
these. I got tried of towels falling off.

My girlfriends is having a baby girl in January
and her baby shower was last weekend. I knew I
wanted to make her something fun.
The top picture is knitted pants and a dress/top.
I got the dress/top here :
The pants I made up my own pattern for them.
I will have to write out the pattern and make a post
on it.
The Cherry Blossom Hat  (LINK) I am
just in love with. I want to make myself one.
It is on my list of things to do.

Lacy Headband - I saw this and just had to make it.
Here is the link to the pattern: Easy Lacy Headband
Video on how to do it: Easy Lacy Headband

Someone asked about if I made Panda Bear hats and I have
been wanting to do one. So I got inspired and made one.
This I did from making up my own pattern.
Here is another one I will need to write up a pattern
and get it posted.
My girls Halloween hats. My oldest wants to be a ghost.
I saw a picture of one and thought she would like this look.
My 6 year old wants to be a Ladybug girl(I love the names
she comes up with each year on what she wants to be. Last year she
was a puppy witch. So I made her a puppy hat and she wore a witch outfit. I love this girl).
 Always one of everyone's favorite.
I call them Twinky hat (all thanks to some guy
at hubby work. He calls the twinky's and it stuck with
me).
This is one I also do just from making up my own pattern.
 To finish up with
Inspired Minnie Mouse ears.
Here is a picture of what they look like on.

Keep your eyes posted for new patterns added soon.
Yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby to get a couple of colors and
they have some new colors. I couldn't resit and got a few of the
new ones and will be working on some new creations.

Happy crafting!!!!

Couple of fun hairstyles

Couple of fun hairstyles

Here are a couple of fun
hair styles. They are bits and pieces
of others I have seen. I will add video's
of how to do certain parts.

Dutch side braid with flower
I did this one for my daughters back
to school night. She also left it in over
night and wore it the next day.

Her ponytail holder had a flower on it.
So we wrapped it around into a bun and put
it the flower in the middle and put some
bobby pins to hold it down.
It was so perfect for a hot summer day.

Rope style bun

I wanted something simple but fun.
I left some of my bangs out and did a a roll
up. Not sure what you call it. But here is how to do it.
In this video go to about 8:20 in and it will show you
how to do your bangs if you want to do this.

For the back. I put it back into a ponytail.
Divide into two parts and then did a
rope braid for each section. Then I wrapped them
around to form a bun and used bobby pins
to hold them in place.

Fall Wreath

Fall Wreath

I decided instead of buy one this year. I would make my own. I need a new one.
Supplies:

Yarn
Styrofoam ring
Your choice of decorations

I started by wraping my yarn around the
Styrofoam ring. Once I got a rhyme down
it was really easy. It took time to do the wrapping.
I sat and watched some tv as I did mine.
I went all the around and then added the decorations next.
Then I started to wrap my yarn around that till it was all
covered up. I wanted to cut them shorter but my
cutter was not working. I need to sharpen it up.
So I left mine.
I left mine like this. But I  want to add a bow to mine
and I might add the big bells.
Right know I don't like it alone.
If you make one. I would love to see yours.

Fake Fishtail Braid

Not sure if I like this one. I need to try it again and
see if I can get it to look better and maybe
I will like it more.

This was my first time trying this one out.

I added my Lilla Rose to.

Here is the link to the video on this style.

Flower Hair Bow Style

It took me a couple of try's to get the flower down.
I did have to use bobby pins like she did too.
Next time I am going to try to do one more.

I just curled up the rest and pulled some
to the side and left some down.

I also think next time I will find something to hide my
ponytail holder.

Here is where I got the idea

Knotted Hair Bun

Knotted Hair Bun

I like this one. But I do think
my hair needs to be a bit logner
to really get it too look better. If I
decide to wear it down. Like she
says in the video.

It was really easy and fast to do.
I also only used four bobby pins. Which
for me I usually have to use more then that.
I am going to wear this tomorrow at
Scrap Fest. :)

It is a great updo for summer, wedding, or just a
day you want your hair out of your way.

Creative Idea's

What a great idea this is.

When I get one made I will post pictures. I just need to finish up one of my
containers. I thought this would be great use for our car.

Another one I saw was

I need to get a picture for myself. I don't want to copy and use there's.

Make the most perfect potato wedges for your family using an apple corer/wedger!!!

Coat with olive oil
  salt
 ground black pepper

Place wedges on lined baking sheet. Bake for about 35 minutes at 450.
Turn the wedges half way through to ensure they brown evenly!

Here is another idea I would love to do. When we get this
done I will share pictures too.

If you have any great idea's or things you have done.
Please feel free to share with us. I love
getting lots of different ways to use things
more then one or for one things.

If you would to like me to post some of your great ideas.
Send in a picture of yours and how you did it to
wigglewormscorner@gmail.com
I will make a post about it and share with everyone else.

Crocheted Tutu skirt

Crocheted Tutu Skirt

I had so much fun making this.
Here is the link to the pattern I used.

Baby Tutu

I did do mine a bit different there she did.

She had it where you tie off at the end and then start with the first
ruffle at the top. I added my first one at the bottom and worked my way up.
Which I am glad I did. I like this one with just three ruffles. Instead
of four ruffs.

I also need to add another button to the back. One is just not enough. She had where you
sew it closed. I thought adding a button would be cute this way. I do really like it. But like
I said I need to add one more button. So I don't get this big gap.

I would like to do ones that are longer for my older girls in colors they would like.

I did this one for Football coming up soon.

If you don't know how to crochet and would like one.  Please come to either one of these pages to get one.

Tie Dying Cotton Yarn

Tie Dying Cotton Yarn
I got the idea from here :

This is what I used to do mine. I did this with my old girls. They had so much fun.

Suppiles needed:
Gloves
White Embroidery Floss
Rubber bands(if wanted, mine still blended in a bit)
Dye( I used what you get for Tie Dying shirts)

I divided mine up into three parts and started to slowly add
color to where I wanted it.

After I was done. I let it air dry over night or you can also
use a blow dryer on it. Then I washed it out a bit. To get any
extra color off. This is what mine looked like when all finished with that.

Here is what I started to work on for myself and my girls. We
are making beaded bracelets out of them.

If you have any questions. Please feel free to ask.
Happy Tie Dying!

Crocheted Infant Tie

Crocheted Infant Tie
Written and designed by Angela Scherber of Wiggleworms Corner

Material needed:
Crochet hook sizes G
I used 100% Acrylic

Abbreviations
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
st = stitch

Top square piece to tie -
Chain 6
Row 1: sc in second loop from hook, sc in each loop across.  (5)
Row 2-5: sc in each st across (5)
chain one and sc around. I put two sc in the corners. Then fasten off.

Bottom  part of tie -
chain 4
Row 1: sc in second loop from hook, sc in each loop across (3)
Row 2-7: sc in each st across
Row 8: increase in first st, sc, increase in last st (5)
Row 9-21: sc in each st across
Row 22: sc, decrease, sc in nest two (4)
Row 23: sc, decrease, sc (3)
Row 24: sc, decrease (2)
Row 25: decrease to one st
I then chain one and sc all around. In the corner's and in the part where the tie starts to decrease. When finished with that fasten off.

Tie around the neck -
chain 41
Row 1: sc in second loop from hook, sc across (40)
Row 2: sc in each st
fasten off

I then sew the Top square and bottom part of tie together. I don't sew it all the way closed. I leave room to add in and take out the tie around the neck. They if you don't want the tie to go around the neck. You can take it out and add a paper clip. To just clip onto the shirt.

Happy Crocheting!

Shooting Star with Flower

Shooting Star with Flower

This is a look I came up with.
My hubby loves the look when I put braids
in and then take them out. Tonight is date night.
So last night I sat down and watched tv and braided
away. I wanted to do a little something different.
So I put part of it up in a bun and some sides up.
All I had was kiddy clips to hold it. So I put
a pretty flower in, that I made.

So here is what I do.
Out a bunch of braids in. I had 15 this time.

I then hold them back with a clip when I am up. At night
I like to braid them together. They do fall out but it holds
it back for a bit.

Here is the look when they come out. This time
I put a bun in half of it. Pulled up a bit from the sides
and put a clip in. I only had little kids clips. So I put a
flower clip in and love this look.

This was my first time doing this one. Hubby came up with the name
for this style.

TGIF!!!

Braid-Wrapped Chignon

Oh I really like this one too. It was not to hard to do.
My hair is so long I had to wrap in under and then out the middle
and then back up again.
Here is what mine looks like.

I need a bit of practice.
But for the first time I am happy with it.
Sorry for the picture. My hubby is sleeping and this is the best
I could do right know. I will have to have him get a better one
when he gets up.

Braided Headband

Here is the link to how I did this cute style.

Braided Headband with Flower

Enjoy this cute fun style!

Elegant Updo

Elegant Updo

My friends bridal/bachelorette party was this last weekend.
I wanted to do something cute and different for her
party. So off to youtube I went. I found this really cute
updo.

I added a cute flower I had at home. I had used it in
some photos we took with one of our little ones.
I just took it apart and made myself a barrette.

Sock Bun Curls

Sock Bun Curls

I can not seem to find the orginal one I found a long
time ago. So I use this one for how to put the bun on.

Last night I use two buns. I put one on the top of my head and
then one on the bottom. I think next time I will do one on each side.

Here is how it looked this morning. I forgot to use my
gel to keep curls in.
Catwalk - Off the top of my head I can't remember where I got it

It is 10am and humid out. So you can
guess what happened to it already.

So I decided to do the video today and I will wear it all day
and sleep in it tonight.

I think it is really cute. I did use a few bobby pins to keep it in place a bit.

I took it out tonight. I decided to try something new tomorrow.
But here is what it looks like right know. I am in love with it.
I love side ponytails.
